CHICKASAW COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) – After coping with storms and extreme rain, the Chickasaw County Sheriffs Division has issued a no journey advisory for components of the county.
RESIDENTS CAN NOT TRAVEL ON THE FOLLOWING ROADS:
- Any secondary or gravel roads
- Freeway 18 W. of Fredricksburg
- Freeway 18 W. of New Hampton
This comes after the sheriff advised KWWL many of those roads are fully underwater. There isn’t a estimate as to when the journey advisory will elevate.
Chickasaw County remains under flash flood watch and flood warnings.
