Gem consultants divided the haul equally between the climber and the native council, with every lot valued at 75,000 euros ($84,350), a spokesman for the council informed CNN on Tuesday.
The valuable stones have been divided equally between the native council and the climber who discovered them on Mont Blanc.

The council will put its stones on show on the Chamonix Crystal Museum, which has been below renovation and is about to reopen on December 19, in response to the Fb submit.
The council stated the valuable stones have been being transported on board an Air India Boeing 707, the “Kanchenjunga,” which crashed on Mont Blanc in 1966, killing 117 folks.
The crash is the topic of conspiracy theories suggesting the flight, which carried the daddy of India’s nuclear trade, Homi Bhabha, was shot down by a fighter jet or missile.
Mont Blanc is the tallest mountain in western Europe.

One other Air India aircraft, the “Malabar Princess,” crashed in the identical space in 1950, killing all 48 folks on board.
